Joint European-Chinese Smile Mission Enters Science Orbit

The collaborative European-Chinese Smile mission has successfully achieved its science orbit and commenced the commissioning phase for its instruments. Launched last month, the spacecraft is reported to be in excellent condition. It is slated to begin collecting data on Earth's magnetic field and auroras by September.
