NOAA Fisheries Implements New Management Plan for Atlantic Cod Stocks

NOAA Fisheries has officially approved Amendment 25 to the Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan, effective today. This update integrates four distinct Atlantic cod stocks into the plan, replacing the previous two, based on updated scientific understanding.
