A recent preprint introduces an MLIR-native framework designed to optimize quantum circuit mapping, a crucial step in quantum compilation. This new blueprint, which re-implements an advanced A* search algorithm, demonstrates improved performance in both solution quality and runtime compared to existing non-MLIR methods.
