NASA Funds Development of Advanced Mars Mobility Systems

NASA has granted approximately $17 million in contracts to seven companies under its STRIDE initiative. These awards are intended to foster the creation of next-generation commercial robotic mobility systems. The goal is to enable future Mars missions to navigate more challenging terrains, cover greater distances, and explore scientifically valuable areas that are currently inaccessible.
