AI System Developed to Design Theoretical Physics Models

Physicists at UC Irvine have created AMBer, an artificial intelligence system capable of autonomously designing theoretical physics models. This innovative AI approach enables researchers to explore extensive areas of particle physics theory more efficiently. It specifically aids in identifying new explanations for the observed mass of neutrinos, a phenomenon not fully explained by the Standard Model.
