NASA Seeks Volunteers for Year-Long Simulated Moon and Mars Mission

NASA is recruiting participants for a year-long simulation at its Johnson Space Center, designed to mimic a mission to the Moon and Mars. Volunteers will live in isolated habitats and use augmented reality tools to perform tasks, gathering crucial data for future deep-space travel. This research aims to inform spacecraft design and operational procedures for upcoming lunar bases and Martian expeditions, with the mission slated to begin no earlier than August 2027.
