Human Tissues Bioprinted in Space Aboard ISS

Auxilium Biotechnologies has successfully bioprinted kidney and liver tissue on the International Space Station, marking a significant advance in in-space biomanufacturing. This achievement demonstrates the potential for producing medical devices and tissues in microgravity. The experiments also yielded 28 nerve repair implants, opening new avenues for regenerative medicine beyond Earth.
