Sierra Space's Dream Chaser Spaceplane Shifts Focus to Defense Sector

After 22 years of development, Sierra Space's Dream Chaser 'Tenacity' cargo spaceplane is complete, but its future mission is uncertain following NASA's termination of its International Space Station cargo contract. Sierra Space is now redirecting the reusable spaceplane towards the growing defense sector in low Earth orbit. The only confirmed flight for the vehicle is currently SSC Demo-1, scheduled for late 2026.
