Small Black Hole Discovered in Omega Centauri by Hubble and JWST

Astronomers have identified a stellar black hole, roughly 4.5 times the mass of our Sun, within the dense Omega Centauri globular cluster. This discovery was made possible by combining observations from both the James Webb and Hubble Space Telescopes. The finding highlights the advanced capabilities of these instruments in detecting subtle gravitational effects of small black holes.
