NSF Launches 12 Regional Innovation Engines Across U.S.

The U.S. National Science Foundation has announced substantial funding for twelve new university-led Regional Innovation Engines spanning twenty states. These initiatives are designed to cultivate innovation clusters, accelerate the development of crucial technologies, and prepare a skilled workforce for future jobs. Each engine, a collaboration of regional organizations, will initially receive $15 million, with potential for up to $160 million over ten years.
