NSF Funds 12 New Regional Innovation Engines to Advance Technology and Workforce Development

The U.S. National Science Foundation has awarded $15 million each to 12 new Regional Innovation Engines. These engines will develop technology clusters and workforce programs across 20 states, focusing on areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, critical materials, biotechnology, and energy infrastructure. The initiative aims to foster innovation partnerships between universities, nonprofits, private companies, and regional partners.
