JWST Discovers New Giant Exoplanet in Beta Pictoris System

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has made another notable exoplanet discovery, identifying a new giant planet designated Beta Pictoris d. This planet is located within the well-studied Beta Pictoris system, situated approximately 63 light-years from Earth. The finding adds a third giant planet to a system already known for its two large planets and extensive debris disk.
