Webb Telescope Discovers Mature Galaxy in Early Universe

The James Webb Space Telescope has identified CEERS-4031, a galaxy that already possessed a dense, star-forming disc over nine billion years ago, when the universe was significantly younger. This discovery challenges current theories of galaxy evolution, suggesting that galaxies formed their central structures and organized into stable forms much earlier than previously understood.
