New Method Proposed for Predicting Solid Electrolyte Conductivity

Researchers have introduced a novel approach using lithium-projected phonon density of states (Li-PDOS) to predict the ionic conductivity of solid electrolytes. This preliminary work suggests that these spectral distributions offer a more reliable measure than existing scalar methods. The findings could significantly aid in the design and screening of advanced materials for energy applications.
