US-Russian Space Crew Returns to Earth After Eight-Month ISS Mission

A U.S.-Russian space crew, including NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Russian cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev, landed safely in the steppes of Kazakhstan on Sunday after an eight-month mission aboard the International Space Station. Their 241-day stint on the orbiting outpost marked the first space mission for Williams and Mikaev.
