Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope Fully Fueled for August Launch
NASA has completed fueling the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, loading 290 gallons of hydrazine fuel into the observatory. This critical step, finished on July 25, brings the telescope closer to its scheduled August 30 launch from Kennedy Space Center. The propellant will be used for maneuvers as the telescope travels to its destination at Sun-Earth Lagrange point 2, approximately one million miles from Earth.
