NASA Funds 18 Early-Stage Space Technology Concepts

NASA's Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) program has awarded $3.2 million to 18 early-stage aerospace concepts, with three projects led by JPL. These Phase I awards, each up to $175,000, will fund nine-month investigations into potential breakthrough technologies for solar system exploration.
