World's Largest Digital Camera, LSST Camera, Captures Over Half a Million Galaxies in a Single Image

The NSF-DOE Vera C. Rubin Observatory's 3.2-gigapixel LSST Camera, the largest digital camera in the world, has captured a stunning deep-field image of the COSMOS Field, revealing more than half a million galaxies and over 50,000 stars.
