MIT and Harvard Introduce New Single-Laser Superresolution Microscopy

Researchers from MIT and Harvard have developed U-STORM, a superresolution microscopy technique that offers approximately 1000 times greater clarity for visualizing molecular structures than traditional methods. This innovation simplifies imaging by utilizing spontaneously blinking upconverting nanoparticles, a property previously considered unsuitable for this type of microscopy.
