Spin-Wave Propagation Visualized at Nanoscale Using NV Centers

Researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing Normal University have achieved direct nanoscale visualization of spin-wave propagation in magnetic materials. This work, detailed in a preprint, addresses a long-standing challenge in observing spin dynamics. The breakthrough could significantly advance the development of future magnonic circuits and spintronic devices, impacting quantum computing and data storage.
