Researchers Convert PVC Plastic Waste into High-Performance Lubricants

A multidisciplinary team from Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and Caltech developed a new method to transform PVC plastic waste, which has a low recycling rate, into high-performance polyalphaolefin lubricants. This discovery offers a sustainable solution for plastic waste management and could enhance industrial efficiency. The research was published in Nature.
