Cancer Dependency Map Integrates 3D Models for Enhanced Research

Scientists at the Broad Institute expanded the Cancer Dependency Map (DepMap) by incorporating nearly 150 3D cancer models, including organoids and spheroids, across ten cancer types. This integration with existing 2D data revealed new genetic dependencies, providing a more comprehensive resource for cancer research and potential drug target identification.
