BESIII Experiment Finds Strong Evidence for Glueball Particle

The BESIII Collaboration has identified the X(2370) particle as predominantly a pseudoscalar glueball, a particle composed entirely of gluons. This discovery, made using a large sample of J/ψ particles, provides the clearest experimental evidence for glueballs after nearly fifty years of searching.
