European Commission, ESA, and SpaceRISE Consortium Clear Full-Scale Implementation of IRIS2 Secure Communications Constellation

A critical review of the IRIS2 secure communications constellation has been completed by the European Commission, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the SpaceRISE consortium, clearing the path for its full-scale implementation. The program's total investment has increased to over €15.6 billion, with €11.6 billion from public funding and up to €4 billion from the consortium partners.
