Journal Corrects X-ray Emission Spectrum in Iron Valence Study

A correction has been issued by the Journal of the American Chemical Society for a previous study on iron valence orbital composition. The X-ray emission spectrum for [FeIICl4]2– was mistakenly a duplicate of the [FeIIICl4]− spectrum. While the discussion and reported energies remain accurate, this correction ensures the integrity of the published scientific record.
