European IRIS2 Satellite Constellation Advances with Increased Budget and Scope

Europe's IRIS2 secure communications constellation has passed a critical review by the European Commission, ESA, and SpaceRISE consortium, enabling full-scale implementation. The program's investment has risen from €10.55 billion to over €15.6 billion, alongside a revised constellation size.
