New Framework Proposed for Gravitational Wave Background Anisotropy Mapping

A new theoretical framework is proposed to improve mapping gravitational wave background anisotropy. This research addresses issues with current data representation truncations, which can cause reconstruction artifacts and misrepresent information from pulsar timing arrays (PTAs). The framework could significantly impact future gravitational wave astronomy and the interpretation of PTA data.
