New Baryogenesis Mechanism Proposed by Researchers

A preprint introduces a novel mechanism for baryogenesis, challenging the prevailing view that Standard Model CP violation is inadequate for explaining baryon asymmetry. The proposed model leverages minimal flavor violation and the CKM matrix, suggesting that leptoquark decays could account for the observed asymmetry without changing model parameters over time.
