Arianespace Pauses ICARUS Upper Stage Project to Focus on Ariane 6 Production

Arianespace and the European Space Agency have suspended development of the ICARUS carbon-composite upper stage for the Ariane 6 rocket. This strategic move, following ESA Ministerial Council directives, aims to reallocate resources to boost Ariane 6 launch rates, cut manufacturing costs, and fulfill existing commercial satellite commitments for the Block 2 configuration.
