MIT Engineers Develop High-Speed Microscope to Image Electrical Activity Across Entire Brains

MIT engineers have created a novel microscope capable of imaging electrical activity in neurons distributed across the entire brain of an organism, specifically the zebrafish. This advance allows neuroscientists to track neural activity on the millisecond scale, which could significantly aid in mapping neural networks and understanding brain functions.
