Black Hole Interiors Probed Using Quasinormal Modes in New Research

A recent preprint investigates using quasinormal modes as external probes to understand black hole interiors. The study analyzes gravitational and electromagnetic perturbations within a reflecting cavity, establishing a thermal product formula and deriving an asymptotic expression for high overtones. This theoretical work offers new avenues for black hole physics research.
