EPFL and Collaborators Create AI Model for Comprehensive Cancer Tissue Analysis

EPFL researchers, with the University of Geneva and others, developed VirTues, an AI model for analyzing tumor tissue across various cancer types. This model uses spatial proteomics data for detailed analysis from cells to patient outcomes, and involved creating the largest open dataset of its kind. Published in Nature, this development could significantly advance cancer research and diagnosis.
