NSF Allocates $290 Million to Quantum Science Research Institutes

The U.S. National Science Foundation is investing over $290 million into eight research institutes to advance quantum science. This funding expands the NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institutes program, supporting three newly formed and five existing institutes. Each will receive $28-37 million over five years to tackle complex challenges and develop powerful quantum-based technologies.
