Preprint proposes flyby mechanism for hot Jupiters in star clusters

A new preprint, accepted for publication in MNRAS, proposes that flyby-induced migration explains the abundance of 'hot Jupiters' in dense star clusters such as M67. This research offers a potential mechanism for the formation and distribution of these close-orbiting gas giant exoplanets, advancing understanding of planetary system evolution.
