Webb Telescope Data Suggests Early Galaxies Were More Massive

Observations from the James Webb Space Telescope indicate that early galaxies contained a surprisingly large population of faint, low-mass stars. This discovery suggests that some of the Universe's earliest large galaxies may possess up to four times more stellar mass than previous estimates. This finding challenges existing models of early galaxy formation and evolution.
