ESA Awards €544 Million in European Launcher Challenge Contracts

The European Space Agency has signed contracts totaling €543.6 million with Isar Aerospace, Rocket Factory Augsburg, and PLD Space under its European Launcher Challenge. This funding aims to support the development and operational launches of new European rockets through 2030, with conditions tied to successful orbital flights by the end of 2027 and proposed upgrades by the end of 2028.
