NOAA Issues Geomagnetic Storm Watches for August 27-28

NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm watch for August 27 and a G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm watch for August 28. These watches are due to expected influences from a coronal hole high-speed stream and the anticipated arrival of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) that departed the Sun on August 25.
