ESA Funds European Startups to Enhance Space Launch Capabilities

The European Space Agency has awarded initial contracts under its European Launcher Challenge program to companies including Rocket Factory Augsburg, Isar Aerospace, and PLD Space. This initiative aims to diversify and strengthen Europe's independent access to space by accelerating the development of new launch services. Funding is contingent on achieving an orbital launch before 2028.
