MTG-I2 Weather Satellite Prepared for Ariane 6 Launch

The Meteosat Third Generation Imager-2 (MTG-I2) satellite has been integrated into the Ariane 6 fairing and is on its launch pad in French Guiana. Scheduled for launch on August 27, this mission marks the ninth Ariane 6 flight and its first to geostationary transfer orbit. MTG-I2 is expected to significantly improve weather forecasting data for Europe and North Africa.
