CERN Accelerators Begin Path Towards High-Luminosity LHC Upgrade

CERN's injector complex and Antimatter Factory have taken their final steps towards Long Shutdown 3 (LS3), marking the beginning of the upgrade path for all CERN accelerators towards the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). This significant milestone will enable the HL-LHC to produce a much larger dataset for physicists to explore the fundamental nature of matter and forces.
