JWST Captures Detailed View of Dust and Infrared Emission in Distant Galaxies

The James Webb Space Telescope's MIRI MRS instrument has provided the first resolved observations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and mid-infrared emission in eight galaxies at redshift z≈1.
