ESA's MTG-I2 Satellite Successfully Reaches Orbit, Enhancing European Weather Monitoring

The second Meteosat Third Generation Imager satellite (MTG-I2) has been successfully placed into orbit, completing the initial family of MTG satellites. This new satellite will provide EUMETSAT's rapid scan service over Europe and Northern Africa, delivering more frequent and higher-resolution observations for improved weather forecasting.
