ESA's First Lunar Rover, MAGPIE, Set to Explore Moon's South Pole for Water Ice

The European Space Agency (ESA) and ispace-Europe have officially implemented MAGPIE, ESA's first lunar rover, which is designed to explore the Moon's south pole for water and other volatiles. The rover, equipped with a drill, volatile analyser, ground-penetrating radar, and neutron detector, is planned for launch in 2029 and will provide critical knowledge for future lunar exploration.
