UT San Antonio Project Approved for NASA-Supported Test Flight to Simulate Martian Gravity for Resource Utilization

A project led by Dr. Shrihari Sankarasubramanian of UT San Antonio has been approved for a NASA-supported test flight to simulate Martian gravity. The flight will test an electrolyzer designed to produce fuel, oxygen, and other vital compounds from local resources on the Moon or Mars, reducing the need for cargo from Earth and freeing up space for research equipment.
