NASA Contracts Blue Origin for Mars Telecommunications Network Development
NASA has awarded Blue Origin a contract valued at up to $700 million to develop the Mars Telecommunications Network (MTN). This new spacecraft will establish a vital communications hub, supporting current and future Mars missions by relaying critical science data, images, and navigation information between Mars and Earth. The network is slated for operation on Mars by 2030.
