Webb Telescope Identifies Potential New Cosmic Object: A 'Black Hole Star'

The James Webb Space Telescope has detected MoM-BH*-1, an extremely bright red spot in the early universe, which researchers are calling a "black hole star." This object is theorized to be a 100,000-solar-mass black hole encased in a dense hydrogen atmosphere, making it 100 billion times brighter than any known star. This discovery, published in Nature, could explain other "little red dots" observed by JWST and offers new insights into the universe's early stages.
