Voyager 1 Continues Data Transmission from Interstellar Space

NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft, launched 49 years ago, remains operational and is still sending data from interstellar space. The probe is now so far that light signals take nearly 24 hours to reach Earth. The mission continues to manage its declining power by gradually deactivating non-essential systems, with the spacecraft projected to reach one light-day from Earth in November 2026.
