Isar Aerospace Completes First Orbital Launch from Continental Europe

The European Space Agency announced that German company Isar Aerospace successfully launched its Spectrum rocket from Andøya Spaceport in Norway. This event marks the first orbital launch originating from continental Europe, signifying a notable advancement in the region's independent space capabilities. The two-stage Spectrum vehicle is designed to deliver payloads up to 1000 kg to low Earth orbit, enhancing European access to space.
