NASA's Dragonfly Mission Progresses, Titan Landing Site Officially Named

NASA's Dragonfly rotorcraft, bound for Titan, has achieved a key construction milestone by connecting electrical wiring harnesses. Simultaneously, the International Astronomical Union has named its planned landing site on Titan as 'Ahmakiq Undae,' a large dune field. This mission aims to explore Titan's diverse environments, including organic dunes and areas near Selk Crater, to investigate conditions where liquid water and complex organic materials once coexisted.
