Europe's MTG-I2 Weather Satellite Reaches Final Geostationary Orbit

The Meteosat Third Generation Imager 2 (MTG-I2) satellite, launched 12 days prior, has successfully reached its designated geostationary orbit at 36,000 km from Earth. This milestone marks the completion of its launch and early orbit phase, and the satellite is now ready to begin its commissioning to enhance weather forecasting over Europe and North Africa.
